Welcome to Goodwood

Just as Goodwood the business aspires to be the ‘World’s leading luxury experience’ for our customers, we aspire to be the ‘World’s best place to work...’ for our people.

As we are dedicated to achieving this, we participate in the Best Companies Sunday Times list for their accreditation. We first registered in 2013 and received an encouraging ‘One to Watch’ status in the 2014 and 2015 lists. Our team are surveyed annually by Best Companies to honestly appraise what it is like to work for Goodwood and we use this information to focus our efforts going forward, to help realise our bold aspiration.

We take learning and development seriously and want our team to be the best they can be, whatever their role, skills or background.

We value entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail and a sheer love of life. By sticking to these values we have built a truly exceptional organisation that has achieved great commercial results and is a great place to work for our people.

Our team of nearly 600 people are asked to deliver a great deal as we strive for perfection. In return for their investment in what we do, Goodwood offers an exceptional environment to work in: 12,000 acres of ancient woodland and parkland in the South Downs National Park; a unique mix of activities, a warmth towards the team’s friends and families and a strong sense of collective success. In essence our team cares because we care – it becomes a virtuous circle where we work, both as a business and as individuals, because we love it.

Goodwood has never rested on its laurels and we continue to grow whilst constantly investing in the fabric of the Estate. We hope you may join our successful company. Welcome to Goodwood!

About Goodwood

We have over 300 years of varied and interesting history - here’s the potted version!

At its core, Goodwood has been shaped by the interests, hobbies and passions of the family over generations. The first Duke of Richmond, son of King Charles ll, chose Goodwood as his country retreat and bought the original Jacobean house in 1697.
