What we do?
At Gold Care Homes we aim to provide our residents with a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, well-being and comfort is of prime importance.
Privately owned by the Gidar family, Gold Care Homes has an established reputation of delivering high quality care and a wide range of facilities to their residents. An ongoing programme of investment means that all of the homes are well presented and maintained to ensure residents are healthy and content.

How we deliver Care in our Homes?
All homes are run by a General Manager, most of who have backgrounds in nursing and administration. The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day to day operation of the home including the management of relationships with residents and their relatives. The General Manager has a number of key staff including a deputy who is responsible for care, and five further departmental heads responsible respectively for administration, catering, housekeeping, maintenance and residents activities. This structure ensures that we are:
operating teams who communicate well with each other and are motivated with continuous improvement and training.
providing the highest quality of excellence and care to all our residents.
helping residents maintain a physically and mentally stimulating and enjoyable lifestyle by understanding their needs and by promoting their dignity.
committed to the relatives and residents we serve by providing care in a safe and comfortable environment.
Our Care Philosophy
At Gold Care Homes, each resident is an individual. Each has his or her own life story. They have their own preferences and their own way of living the latter years of their life. In understanding that, we tailor every resident's care plan entirely around their specific requirements, recognising where we can provide for their preferences, lifestyles and routines.
Foremost our care philosophy is seeing the person for who they are, not their age or condition. Everything we try to do is done with a genuinely caring, person-centred approach.
We invite you to pay a visit to one of our care homes to see that person-centred approach in action.
What is a person-centred approach?
This approach means:
working together with you and whoever else you choose (family, friends, neighbour)
offering you choices about when, where and how you get your supports - and honour those choices
help you plan better for the present and the future
help you stay healthy and safe
help you get involved with groups, organisations and social activities that interest you – less
