Fun and challenging working environment.
Account Manager (Current Employee) –  Thames Valley21 August 2018
Fun and challenging working environment where no two days are the same.

New business is a large part of this sales/ account manager role. You will be a marketing consultant, not a sales rep.

Producer (Former Employee) –  Southampton, Hampshire18 September 2017
I was very fortunate to become one of the youngest Breakfast Show Producers at Global and was rewarded great opportunities to work with some of the UK's top talent in presenting and producers. I mainly learnt how to apply creativity to commercial decisions, how to engage audiences and stay meticulously organised.
Pros
Working with top talent.

Account Executive (Former Employee) –  South West29 June 2017
A typical day at work would be phoning new customers to sell them a portfolio of items to suit there individual needs, covering the South West and South Hams. I also was at this time doing a ongoing course at Global Radio to get to the next level. They had there own work structure. The most enjoyable part was being your own manager.
Pros
Sales, Telesales, Meeting Customers, Needs find, Selling a Diverse range of proudcts
Cons
long hours especially when doing the course

No support
Account Manager (Former Employee) –  Cornwall30 March 2017
Be prepared to be expected to work out of hours.

Technology and products great but if you struggle they don't help they put more pressure on.

Salary comes in about £23k

High turnover in staff across the region and as a private employer get away with lots.

If you know someone that has worked there ask how many have left in the last 18 months.
Pros
Technology
Cons
Management is poor and expect miracles without proper support

The Most Dreadful Place to Work
Presenter for the Heart Network (Former Employee) –  London29 August 2015
The staff are not valued, they are taken for granted. Expectations are high in return for a poor salary and no perks or bonuses. You are spoken to in a rude and unappreciative manner. I also experienced corrupt behaviour from some team members. The company has destroyed local radio as we once knew it and they have removed any creativity from the teams. I appreciate they are a large brand and the way they do business appears to be working for them, but their way does not fit with my values.
Pros
None
Cons
Low pay, you are not respected or valued.

Vibrant
Promoter (Current Employee) –  Birmingham, ENG23 February 2015
A typical day would include coming up to the main office, getting prepared for the day ahead then going off into Birmingham & surrounding areas with a clear idea of the goals we need to reach and spreading the love of the brand to our target audience, whilst trying to generate more listeners and fans for the radio station. My co-workers are as enthusiastic and driven as I am which leads to an easy working environment. The hardest part of the job is working through the cold weather in the dark winter mornings however that's contrasted with fun sunny shifts during the summer. The most enjoyable part is meeting new people & being able to talk about a brand that you love to the public.
Pros
Very Flexible

Great place to work with a good bunch of people.. Work can be intense at times but you also have fun times too and I always enjoyed working there.
Credit Controller (Former Employee) –  England14 August 2013
Looking after 39 radio stations based across the whole of the uk, collection of approx 16 million a month for the local radio stations and 20 million a month for the larger London stations. 5 people would look after the London side and two teams of 6 would cover the uk regions. Approx 200 clients per credit controllers ledger to deal with monthly.

Each credit controller would deal with their banking each day, posting the cash to the financial system and reconciling of accounts, adhoc queries, invoices, credit notes and statements to be sent out. Reminder letters every week along with telephone chasing.

BACS paymets made by clients and direct debits would be dealt with by the team leader along with them suporting the rest of there team on any issues they may have.
