From my experience the 'interviewers' are juvenile females that are in 'senior management ' positions. They cannot spell and have very poor standards of literacy. Their 'management style' is one of play on the computer or mobile, hide in the office, ignore staff (apart from favourites) and generally treat their team like dirt.
Ger rid of all the local 'senior management teams' as they are significantly absent and incapable. They make little if any difference other than to negatively impact staff morale and customer perceptions. No ideas, no leadership, no hope. The other option would be to lock the doors and throw the keys away.... this might be better.
Does GLL require pre-employment background checks? What kind of background check does GLL do and how long does it take to complete?
They would do a full no disclosure CRB check to find any criminal history, past or present.
Let them concentrate on the job they were employed to do. Don’t include duties that weren’t part of their job description and listen to their concerns
It’s a negative opinion... it’s far too corporate and cold ( reminds me of a airport - disconnected ) Members of the public are looking for a warm and friendly environment. GLLs future will however thrive due to buying all other. Gym / Swimming facilities .all over the uk .
