I work as a contractor. As a contractor you don't get much development opportunities, there is certain degree of segregation with permanent staff. On going short job contract does't give much job security or benefits. In overall happy about the company.
A company which I was always excited to work for. Certainly a great place to learn especially if you are starting off. A lot flexibility for the staff which may not be available with smaller companies.
Large corporate company, opporutnity to learn lots of analytical techniques

In general GSK is a great place to work. Its respectful and the culture good. I have found career advancement difficult in early years, but now I am working in an area I enjoy I believe this will be easier.
