Imagine a place where too many people have been over-promoted and are desperately clinging on by their fingernails hoping they won't ever be found out - yep, that's what it's like.
Far too many self-important people in inefficient, ineffective and pointless roles. If the business operated in a commercial environment and not as a government defence contractor, it would disappear in an inglorious blaze of incompetence.
However, there are a lot of good, talented hardworking employees who are totally unappreciated unless they're one of the 'golden children'.
I've worked for some half-arsed operations in my time, but this one comes close to being the worst.
I really don't have an axe to grind, I'm just telling it like it is.
