What is the criteria for trainee software analyst that you are looking,as I'm a Dental graduate and looking forward to change my career towards IT.If you could please give me the feedback I would appreciate it.
For someone going into the developer stream, provided you're able to show your ability to learn you should be fine. A passion for IT is important and if you can demonstrate this in the interview process you won't have many issues.
Is the placement done in the training academy location or is there a high possibility we would have to relocate? For example would I be around London if training at London bridge
No, done in a different city and placed in another city
No you have to relocate for the role and there is no certainty to where you’re going or how long for. If you do get a job it most likely falls through so you wait at home for 3 weeks and chase it up yourself to find out it’s fallen through but nobody has made you aware. Avoid at all costs!!!
Make it more of a reasonable training scheme that benefits the person itself more than the company
Do your research. The tests they give you aren't easy but they are better than most in that they will give you all the materials you require to pass them rather than relying on prior knowledge.
In the interviews, be friendly but professional. They want you to have a wider interest in IT so think about what motivates you and you should be fine.
For the ' Getting Back to Business Programme', what if you do not land a client? Will they pay you at the same rate or it will be reduced?
If you do not get placed with a client, you dont get paid. You only start your salary as soon as you start on site with a client.
