Long hours and little money min wage at best. The managers get back handers to give the local and best work to certain teams. Pay is never right and the management is a disgrace please avoid if u have any brains.

Sales Executive - Full Time (Former Employee) –  Newcastle upon Tyne11 January 2020
Expensive product for what you get makes this a very difficult sell compared to other companies as with most of these companies you are only paid in results

Window Fitter (Former Employee) –  Warrington27 November 2019
This place is all about management getting the rewards, fitters are treated lower than low. Had a great fitting partner but it broke down due to stress.

Call Administrator (Current Employee) –  Warrington, Cheshire23 November 2019
I work in the Warrington office and must say it is one of the friendliest places I have ever worked. The office based colleagues make you feel welcome and they are all ready to help you at the drop of a hat. The emphasis is on quality not quantity and the management want you to succeed. The overall ambiance is positivity which encourages you to be the best you can when helping and assisting customers.

Double Glazing fitter (Current Employee) –  Warrington3 November 2019
Disorganised chaos. Horrible management and no respect for customers. Materials came damaged and mangers still expected to fit items just so they could meet they're targets

Ok if you have more than 5 years experince
Field Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Peak District16 October 2019
Fantastic training
£250 per wk for the 1st month Pay as you learn
£20k sales in the 1st month !!!! cherrypicked by TDM
Foot canvas lead conversion 1 in 8
I sold £7k on full money and earned £750 in 1 day if I had discounted it down to 50% I would have earned £150
Senior Rep complained why me a trainee was getting such good leads

Several Foot canvas leads I travelled 100 miles round trip £17 in fuel to be told by Householder that she had told the Foot canvasser that she had had double glazing fitted 25 years ago and had no intention of buying again...
Foot canvasser said well just have the appointment with no obligation.....
surprise surprise foot canvasser gets £60 for every lead that is Sat by Sales consultant who gets nothing

Experienced Sales consultants with over 15 years service with Everest have databases of past leads and Customers who they revisit everytime there is a shortage of generated leads......in basis terms each Consultant is breaking the GDPR regulations over Customer/Contact details
Pros
Lucky dip on Leads
Cons
If you dont mind travelling, for 2 hrs ending, up spending £20 on fuel, and not earning, this is the job for you

Very hard work
Joiner/Carpenter (Former Employee) –  Warrington9 October 2019
Some great people , very fast paced work , made some great friends , but not much chance of any home life . The work day was long and hard , arrive at the office for 6.30 am , then get the guys sorted for the day ahead , then once all teams had left the factory all yesterday paperwork had to be processed. You would not finish the day until approx 6.30 in the evening .

Do not waste your time !
Window Fitter (Former Employee) –  Bodmin, Cornwall21 August 2019
Worked for Everest for 5 months , wages always messed up and given excuses, some jobs never even got paid for. They tell you £500 minimum a week when you start.. rarely ever earnt as much as that. Some weeks more work than others, if you finish the work and they have nothing else booked in for you for the day they say they will pay you for full day when actually they only pay maximum of half a day. Management is awful and very unhelpful constantly taking money out of your wages and giving you excuses even though work is completed and customers were happy. No security in this job .. it’s a worry if you will even get a wage!! Still trying to get my wage for a full weeks work before I left ! Head office are just as unhelpful and trying to keep the money!! ITS A CON, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Dreadful company, lies and don’t pay
Fitter (Former Employee) –  Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk21 August 2019
Never pay correctly, have to work miles away, Windows always wrong, management shambles, always blaming head office why didn’t get paid, worst company I’ve ever worked for, please don’t listen to the lies about wages etc. It won’t happen, they don’t pay. You will work lots of hours for nothing.

Really bad branch management
Planning Administrator (Former Employee) –  Ayr10 April 2019
The office is brilliant to work in, the team leaders and staff are great and really supportive. Hours are great.

However, the managers at the branches that let the place down - they don't have to deal with raging customers on the phone so don't seem to care. Hardly ever call customers back which means we get them back on the phone even angrier. Only so much you can do to help as always need to speak to branch managers first who ignore you!
Installers/engineers leaving it to the office to tell customers they're not able to make it for whatever reason (usually on the day of appointment!)
Very much a sales most important. After sales support useless (no fault of office staff!!)
It's a good place to work if you can deal with irate customers day in and out!
Pros
Hours, colleagues
Cons
Poor outside management.
