Awful Company
Recruitment Consultant (Former Employee) –  London1 November 2016
Truly the most horrific company I have ever worked for…

This is an environment where you visibly witness a ‘bullying culture’ from director level down to recruitment consultants. There is no clear structure or direction for you development, you are simply expected to just make calls for the sake of calls and lie to candidates and clients.

They focus is heavily KPI driven (often set up to fail). If you like the environment where you are screamed at on the sales floor and told your under performing in you third week then this job is for you.

It’s not all bad… the salary is very good and the commission scheme is fantastic however unrealistic placements for a small agency who has no market share.

Expect over 13 hours days as you will be disciplined for leaving work anywhere close to your contractual finish time.
Pros
Good Salary/Commission Scheme
Cons
Everything else that comes with working for this company

Great place Great people
Consultant (Current Employee) –  London14 July 2015
A great company with great people. Empiric is a fun and enjoyable place to work whilst at the same time encouraging a strong business focus.
Recruitment in itself is a tough role in that there are many disappointments to deal with along the way as well as the ups and it's no different here...

The hardest part of the role is picking yourself up after one of your candidates comes 2nd.

However, if you're trying hard and doing the right things, you get tremendous support and you find yourself quickly back on track.
Strong principles and ethics driven from upper management have created a brand you can be proud of and you're given all the tools and training to succeed.

And when you do succeed and you're candidate gets the job, that's the best bit. The candidate's happy, your client's happy, your boss is happy and you know you've done a good job. Then, of course you celebrate...

Great incentives are on offer to help you repeat this success - top restaurant lunches, trips away to top destinations and monthly commission.

Everyone gets on well, there is a lot of laughter in the office and the day flies by.
Pros
Enjoyable work, great environment, great rewards
Cons
You need a good work ethic

Energetic, Pressure, Results & Celebration
Talent Acquisition & Development (Current Employee) –  london14 July 2015
Success is a great equalizer in an organisation that recruits and retains people from vastly diverse backgrounds.

I focus on Leadership & Sales talent development. Anything to support bright people who do OK into the success they want to be.

Character over process, Results over activity, encouraging an environment of challenge, it's a strength to ask for help but leave no stone un-turned when it comes to delivery.

Nothing is more motivational then achievement of a someones unrealistic goal. Something you even doubt you can do yourself. This is an environment that supports that step outside your comfort zone
Pros
People. The people make the business
Cons
Success makes time management even more difficult.

Marketing (Current Employee) –  London14 July 2015
Fun and diverse workplace where everyone has the freedom be themselves.

Everyone gets on really well together and we have amazing banter. We regularly plan company socials and use our in-house Golf simulator, F1 car simulator and lavish bar most Fridays!

Empiric offers a lot of lucrative benefits and promotion opportunities for all staff.
Pros
Love the office entertainment area!

Social Media/Internal Hiring (Current Employee) –  London14 July 2015
The environment is electric. Each worker is determined and focussed on achieving their goals and targets. Management sits on sales floor, there is no separation which makes the company just that bit more inclusive. The whole company works together and helps each other.

It is a truly great place to work. It's fun and always bringing something new to the table. People who want to learn more are very much welcomed and encouraged.

Great company.
