Eddie Stobart Careers and Employment

About us
Eddie Stobart is a leader in the multimodal transport and logistics industry. The company was founded in Cumbria in the 1960s where Eddie Stobart started out as an agricultural contractor. From the first named trucks; Twiggy, Suzi, Dolly and Tammy, this family business has grown into the company seen today that employs over 6,000 staff across more than – more... 40 sites served by over 2,400 vehicles.

Given the growth of the business it is no surprise that an Eddie Stobart vehicle is seen on average every 4.5 minutes on the UK’s roads. The company has become loved by the public, with a strong fanbase of Stobart spotters following our iconic vehicles.

The Eddie Stobart brand is synonymous with professionalism and quality, providing multimodal logistics solutions throughout the UK and Europe. Our transport offering is supported by the largest FMCG rail freight service in the UK, specialist divisions for the transportation of a broad range of goods, a container logistics port, an automotive division and a vast network of depots and warehouses. And we carry many industry- and globally-recognised accreditations.

Our vision is to be recognised for our pride and professionalism in delivering innovative customer solutions and service excellence.
