I had my phone interview that went well but when it came to the interview it's self I dident stand a chance. There was 9 people with 2 staff, one had worked there for 4years hadent got a clue. We were split into group's of 5 and 4 I was in the 5 not a good experience when you have 4 very loud people in the group. A customer heard it all and thought to it was a very unfair situation should have had a smaller group. The one to one interview I was asked how quick I could work. Not very professional. This was a store in east ayrshire. I was discussed.

Telephone interview, followed by a group interview, was one occasion the older applicants so knew I didn't stand a chance, spent hours at the interview watching a video, role playing, so unessary, had to bring documents ie photo ect then you don't get the job!

I sat in the back of the managers car with the engine running and radio on full blast for my interview.

I've just had an assessment at Dunelm and It was great! The manager was so down to earth. There were only 4 of us, we had to chose an item that we liked, get into pairs, explain to our partner why we liked it then our partners had to tell the manager what we said about it. We then went onto the shop floor to do an easy task. It was a very relaxed assessment which ended with an interview.
