You go for run with the area manager who’s dressed like a nun and smoking a pipe
You will never experience an interview like it again for as long as you live
Telephone interview, followed by a group interview, was one occasion the older applicants so knew I didn't stand a chance, spent hours at the interview watching a video, role playing, so unessary, had to bring documents ie photo ect then you don't get the job!
I sat in the back of the managers car with the engine running and radio on full blast for my interview.
Strange to say the least.
I've just had an assessment at Dunelm and It was great! The manager was so down to earth. There were only 4 of us, we had to chose an item that we liked, get into pairs, explain to our partner why we liked it then our partners had to tell the manager what we said about it. We then went onto the shop floor to do an easy task. It was a very relaxed assessment which ended with an interview.
Very lax interview .if face fits realy .some mangers and assisant mangers also look you up on social media check your life style etc ..
