The job was amazing, I got to work on a lot of big films and meet plenty of amazing people with a love for film as big as mine.

Unfortunately, this is ruined by the companies contract and management system. Keeping employees on for 3 months and rolling it on after is not a safe way to run your life. It allows them to remove you and at any notice.

This isn't helped by management, giving no indication of when this could happen to you. Furthermore, they expect you to simply leave the moment occurs with no questions asked. This is a shame that such a fun job with amazing environment is ruined by its disregard for its employees.

For those who are looking to work here, certainly go for it. Just be wary that they have to power to remove you at any given time.
Pros
Fun, food provided, great people
Cons
Management, Contract

Demeaning. Too much is put on Runners that should be given to a full time cleaning crew. Runners are for running rushes and assisting with film/media stuff, but mostly will not be doing that. Expect weeks of washing dishes and cleaning up after people and intermittently thereafter. No opportunities to move up, the departments don't want to elevate runners and talk about it around the staff, it's very depressing to work there.
Pros
Dinner if you work late or on weekends; Can participate in Beer & Pizza monthly event
Cons
Worked like a slave for McDonald's pay, not be given much training, Training is not good, No fx trainers for Runners, Many staff demonstrably don't respect Runners, Hard physical work full time and expected to stay late to train unsupervised without a trainer
