Impossible to Progress
Part of leadership (Former Employee) –  Loughborough, Leicestershire6 August 2018
Good people culture and some smart people work in the organisation. but it is very obvious that some people are favoured by the management. Risks are ignored and the focus is on making a profit, no matter how.

no focus on people development, there are some really hard working people and they have not progressed in their career and no increase in salary.

Management fails to take criticism and plays huge politics to get their self into work, which takes the enjoyment away from the staff.

good site, relaxing sitting areas around the company, so after stressful morning you can sit outside to relax.
Pros
Good and friendly people to work with
Cons
no career progression and skills development

Technically, the people at DNVGL are first class. There are great role models for junior staff and interesting projects to work on. However, they are seen as expensive in the oil & gas industry, and management lack a plan of how to cope with the current industry challenges.

Management seem to have little involvement
The hardest part is asking for help as all individuals are very busy and it seems the management frown on you for asking questions on a regular basis.
The hardest part of the job is learning to use SAP and Oracle finance which are the systems used on a daily basis.
It seems like the office is getting smaller due to departments being moved abroad or anther location in the country
A major concern is that there is very little room for development
Pros
Free fruit
Cons
Lack of team spirit

Certain members of staff seem to be favoured my the managers which is a horrible environment to be in. Boot licking
No progression for you or even spoken about
No focus on your personal development. They only seem to concentrate on what you have done wrong rather than what you have done well.
Junior staff are given very little responsibility and the compensation and benefits received do not match the amount of effort and hard work put in by employees.

Consultant (Current Employee) –  United Kingdom6 July 2016
My typical work including carry out the project data collection, trending analysis, and liaise with client, project team and project EPC contractors regarding their enquires and questions.

The most difficult part and the most enjoyable part of the work is to manage the client relationship by providing the best solutions while understanding their expectations and deliver the service as expected.
Pros
Work with many experts from the industry

Was great but worsening after merger and low oil price
Human Resources Specialist (Former Employee) –  London20 May 2016
Work was always busy. People are friendly and helpful with a caring and sharing culture. Work life balance ok as firm has/had a Scandinavian/German culture in the past. Low oil price and a drive to reduce costs has made the salary and benefits become average.
Pros
Interesting and challenging projects. Co-Workers.
Cons
Conditions reducing all the time.

Tres bonne entreprise
Consultant (Current Employee) –  Bristol26 February 2014
