The culture of Dimensions is all about the people we support and the staff

Answered

Lack of support and to much paper work, including support plans, risk assessments and poor management

Answered

Mostly no but if you are an community support worker (taking clients out for the day and doing activities in different places) then you may need one. Some clients have their own care though so it depends on the person you are supporting.

Answered

Dependant on the role you take on, my role is office hours, Monday to Friday, there maybe occasional late meetings and usually overnight stays usually once a week, again this depends on the role.

Answered

In my job role I can have quite flexible approach to my hours as long as I do my job and my hours

Answered

Maths and English test included but they didnt say what you need to achieve in order to pass. Whatever your experience, just be yourself. Think through why you want to work with people with disabilities. Think of your strengths, though most of this is only talk, as they desperately need staff.

Answered

Have some compassion for the real people that actually look after the people with learning disabilities. It’s all a sham as it’s them who lets Dimensions down not the support workers
