I work 6 and a half hour shifts in the Newcastle store and get half hour break but I work on menswear so it takes 5 mins to get up to the lockers 10 mins to go get dinner and 10 mins to get back leaving only 5 mins to eat and be back on the shop floor. I would much prefer to work a 7 hour shift for a 1 hour break

Do not come to talk to them just to talk about selling more credit cards, about the importance of daily upselling and sideselling, about meeting departmental daily targets, about things not being done due to shortage of staff and seeing only all the negative things. And acknowledge that staff only have two hands and we only have 24 hours in a day and not make staff finish a ton of outstanding work and stayed late and not pay overtime.
