5 years of employment history required, DBS Check and also previous education history would have a long thorough check. Usually takes 3 weeks before you start the induction process for the role.

They expect a 5 year history with no gaps what so ever, if you have gaps you have to run around collecting character references. It took me 4 months to complete this check. Then you have the CRB check which takes roughly 1-2 weeks to come back. Then you have a mini driving test in a van driving around with someone watching and marking how you do.
