I've been a DHL express Courier for 3 years.
I was doing agency work and was placed at DHL, Got on well with the job noted by management and given a full time position,

If your looking to become a courier - your best time to join is nov/dec as we go into peak most stations will take on extra drivers. work your bollocks off to get noticed and keep a positive can do attitude. let the people in charge know your interested.

last Christmas we took on 3 guys who came in as temps and they are now full-time employed couriers.

I would also recommend find your local station and turn up in person (around midday probably your best bet) and just ask the person at reception if they are looking for any more drivers. and see if they can take contact details. and just keep checking in every couple of weeks.
