Worked for Colten for a number of years. It has gone down hill, care is amazing, but managment don't care and the deputy manager is very rude to staff.


12 hours, day staff have 3 breaks, night staff don't.


Dress for interview should be smart, clean and tidy and appropriate for the level of role. Jeans are never a good idea!


Work history and what you know about and can offer in the care environment. You can base answers on different job roles if they are relevant. Colten are careful about who they recruit but of course some people always slip through that aren’t right for the job!


Because we love and care about our residents too much to leave.


Seeing care staff struggling and good carers leave.


Not getting my holiday pay that I’m ENTITLED too, whether it be time off or paid I don’t mind
