There is no set amount you have to sell, but they do love their targets in the amount of shoe care, handbags and multi sales (more than one pair per sale) they like you to get above a certain percentage every day or week or month. But it depends on the store and the manager how strict they are about it.

Yes. They were called multi-sales. You would have to convince parents (during the back to school period) to buy another pair of shoes along with the school shoes you already sold them. These could be plimsolls or trainers.
