Once on station- middle mgt (insp and above) are useless, with next to non having any real world policing experience.
The culture is very corporate and cliquish with many old lazy know all"cops".
The role bares no relationship to policing, it ... - less
ProsOvertime, shift pattern
ConsManagement, culture, no lateral movement, geographic locations, tedious nature of the work
