Editor and Writer (Former Employee) – Berlin – 6 July 2016
Working on a film set was a new and exciting opportunity. The production office is always busy with something to do and a fantastic team of people. Day to day activities involved casting, finding locations to shoot on, and booking travel and accommodation.
I would start my day learning German for two hours and then had a short break for lunch followed by a two hour review session or progress meeting for our groups travel guide. If there was no scheduled meeting or review session, I would visit a site to review or go on a group visit to a educational location. I would have to write at least 4 reviews a week and submit them to the team of editors. After a month of writing we complied all the reviews together and made a travel guide for first time travellers to Berlin. The layout team created the overall design and structure of the guide. The hardest part of the job was editing reviews and not changing the writers style.
