I worked for these for almost 10 years in a couple of different management roles. There is a definite culture of bullying that starts at the top and filters down to the sales staff. You're constantly bombarded with unrealistic targets and after a short while of not hitting them, you'll be gone. All branches are run on bare bones staff levels and that leads to h&s issues and long unfriendly hours. The basic wage is just that and you'll need to earn commission to get any sort of half decent salary. I'm still in the flooring trade and I can tell you they're on their knees so if job security is important to you, do yourself a favour and stay away.
Better than the dole... maybe
