Carlisle Support Services as a company are great, no issues with pay or holiday but Wolverhampton NHS site is run poorly by the management in charge of that site, excluding the NHS Security Managers who are very good at what they do. • Lack of Management Experience The management have no previous management experience, one was once a office person and the other a security supervisor. • Lack Of Experienced Guards When full time guards call in sick/annual leave you’re left with agency guards who are very inexperienced and will not help restrain difficult patients/visitors when required. They often don’t know the site and a regular guard is left to do all three patrol routes, ward patrols and car park checks on their own. • Poor Equipment/Radios/Bodyworn Camera Personal Radios often don’t work in certain areas of the site, leaving guards unable to reach the control room if an emergency came about or reply to control room messages. This was reported to management numerous times but told there wasn’t a problem when clearly there is. Body Worn cameras are often not fully charged or charged at all and when attending incidents you’re left unable to provide evidence of aggressive situations/assualts/being accused of things. • Company Van Is Dangerous The company van is unroad worthy, engine light is constantly on, oil light is constantly on,no lights work other than the fog lights, brakes are near enough non existent, steering often locks. The van has been in and out of the garage but not fully repaired even tho reported to the management yet you’re expected to still - more...
I worked for Carlisle at the Tottenham football ground as a 24/7 security team for 15months, I received no training and very poor management and admin and chronic shortages of staff. The quality of staff was mostly very poor with a few decent ones. And still waiting for my final bits 4 months after having my contract terminated.
Not a good company at all, they lie to you none stop and the pay wasn’t good though on time, don’t even bother with the management as they are never there for you and they certainly haven’t got the work they say they have, If you smart you will keep clear.
Lies and not much work
This company secures events they have a postal which you need to log into to request work, all very simply just turn up log in get paid, different events, tennis, cricket, football, horse racing, coprate events different locations work as much or as little as needed
If you want a good company with respectful management Do NOT work for Carlisle, they treat their guards badly, they have no respect, complete disgared for your safety, they ignore all forms of contact and if you call the regional manager you get shouted at, they lie about everything, tell you that you will get a permanent site so you dont leave, they dont care if a guard is being threatened, the allow bullying, they are bullies. They are disgusting. Do not work for them if you value your health and happiness.

The management haven't got a clue what their doing and mess everything up for the guards on the ground, no backing from the management if you need it, you're often left under staffed each shift with a average of 1 to 4 guards each shift depending whose off sick/suspended. The work load given is too heavy given the amount of guards on shift, breaks are far and few between of your lucky to get one.
4on 4off rota
Too much workload, lack of staff, poor management.
They don’t give a monkeys about their staff. They have loads of contracts and all their clients can’t stand them. Never see managers and you get no training. Just chuck you on a site and hope for the best. As long as you have two eyes and a nose you can get a job with them.
Don’t give a monkeys about the guards.
Worked for them for three years. They have loads of contracts in Liverpool but virtually every client hates them. Some of the guards are good but there is no development or any management. They don’t seem to care for their staff.
Some good guards.
Bad management and no development.
Just left the company under Dubious circumstances on their behalf no support from admin or HR and as for site management one word comes to mind (incompetent) would not recommend this company if you're serious about security. Was told on interview hours were 4 on 4 off in reality working up to 72 hours per week
Good honest work colleagues
No management support
If you want to get mental problems then work for this company, the management is 0, the supervisors can't even write or spell, they make security deliver milk, bread and bananas, and dirty laundry .if you can't speak or read and write I believe this is the right place for you. I advise not to work for this company. And also the pay is minimum wage.
I work set Hours which is good, would not work over time as I Don't trust their pay system. Pay on a average for holiday pay. So Pay is sort every time you take a holiday. GM is always travelling around shacking peoples hand so not doing any work. Pay average. Cannot get hold of anyone to help sort problems or queries out.
Pay on Time
