So yourself a massive favour and avoid this place like the plague. 17 hour "split" shifts are not uncommon, with a 6am start the following morning. Bullying is common, empty promises of progression and change for the better that never happen, incompetent management who can barely manage to put a tie on straight let alone run a hotel and restaurants. Staff are poorly treated, no and get no praise for doing well, but boy will they let you know you've messed up. Just don't do it to yourself unless crying in a linen cupboard is your idea of a great workplace- and no, I was not the only one to do this, it was a daily occurrence.

Not good

Stressful working life, slave to the hotel. Management are very strict and bossy. It's all very unprofessional Bullying is quite a regular occourance. If you want to give up your social life and life in general work here

Bad place

The worst place I have been working. Bad, liar and unuseful management. The usual UK remote hotel where go to wotk all the worst british and east europe people.

Great people to work with, company needs work

Great and beautiful place to work, if a little understaffed at times (like all hospitality places). I feel that some management didn't have a keen eye on how the business was running or couldn't communicate with the staff correctly. How ever some management were outstanding at the same time. Good chance to advance from within. Overall an enjoyable place to work most of the time. Could be better. Shouldn't take much to make this a little gem once again.
