Care UK Healthcare Careers and Employment

About us
We’re the largest independent provider of NHS services in the country.

Working closely with the NHS, we deliver more than 70 services throughout the UK.

We’re bound by the same standards and measures of success as the NHS. Our governance and accountability procedures are the same as those used by the NHS. This means the quality of care we provide
 – more... at least meets the high levels of service you expect from the NHS.

GP services - We operate nine community general practices on behalf of the NHS, offering patients the full range of services they would expect from a local GP, including sexual health, vaccinations, cervical screening, diabetes and asthma clinics, stop smoking advice and blood pressure clinics.

Prison Healthcare - We are the UK’s leading independent provider of health services in 31 prisons, sexual assault referral centres and youth offender establishments.

We believe in putting the patient first, regardless of the environment or their history. That’s why we deliver quality healthcare in some of the most challenging environments – for victims of crime and for those within the judicial system.

NHS 111 - We hold the contracts for 12 NHS 111 services across a range of geographical areas in England, including the south west and south east of England, London, and parts of the Midlands and east of England.

Out-of-hours services - Care UK currently provides over 20 out-of-hours services across England, some in joint venture partnerships with local GPs.

Urgent care - Our urgent care services enable commissioners to ensure their patients have access to the right health care service, at the right time, in the right place during both in-hours and out-of-hours.

Treatment centres - Our treatment centres are providing prompt assessment, diagnosis and treatment, and excellent results for more than 80,000 patients each year.

Clinical Assessment and Treatment Services (CATS) - Patients deserve quick and convenient assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Our clinical assessment and treatment services (CATS) deliver this in a single service.
