A typical day involved exposure to various areas of a Generalist HR role including but not limited to; sickness absence management, recruitment and interviews, employee benefits administration, payroll administration, general employment relations advice, preparation of contracts and employment letters, arrangement of training and events both internally and externally, ad hoc projects for HR director, diary management of HR managers and director.
This role gave me great insight into the legal sector and productive HR practices.
I worked with a great team who were passionate and full of energy.
It was a very busy environment which enabled me to strengthen my time management skills.
I really enjoyed meeting and working with new people and a cross section of departments.
