The interview process should be influenced by your answers at interview and scored accordingly. This should be weighed up and a score given to show performance. However, sadly this is not always the case as some people get into post without having an interview. They are simply assimilated or given posts and this is not through restructuring, it is a 'who you know stance' as some managers feel they are above policy and procedure and the ethos of being an equal opportunities employer which is something local authorities general embrace as an integral part of work practices.
