Productive, hardwork, enjoyable but stressful,demanding
Shift Leader (Current Employee) –  Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh19 October 2019
i do feel as though it is hard hard work and it can get tough but its nothing one cant handle , like other places some customers can be very demanding, sometimes a lot is expected from you and you do tend to get put in stressful situations and sometimes have to deal with them yourself. In regards to culture it is neighborhood friendly, a lot of amazing regular customers that you develop a bond with , almost a friendship, its nice , people are made to feel welcome. I believe the most enjoyable part of the job is in fact the customers , you come across lovely people that you enjoy chatting to everyday and they also appreciate and enjoy the time you give them. I also personally enjoy the hard work, I do wish it was rewarded more as there is no bonuses , paid overtime or anything of that sort but there are worst places to be in.

Awful
Shift leader (Former Employee) –  Belfast13 November 2019
Terrible place to work. No knowledge of how to process shifts. Area managers and some store managers think they’ve above you and will constantly undermine your work and nothing will be good enough for them. Don’t care about staff of there health. If your sick, your still expected to work and won’t be sent home. Always understaffed on a shift. Especially on the busier days. Make sure you don’t care about giving up your days off cause you’ll be expected to work those too. Used to be quite a cultural company but the company have just become greedy and constantly make cut backs. Everything it monitored within an inch of its life. Can’t make any mistakes as that’s just simply not allowed. If you enjoy big brother you may enjoy this job as that’s all it can be described as. Area managers will come into store and sit behind a laptop and watch you struggle on ur shifts while dictating what isn’t done. Rotas horrendous you’ll work nearly two weeks between ur days off some weeks they’re also changed and nobody will tell you and you may get them the day before a new week begins. To be honest do yourself a favour and apply elsewhere.

Ambiente agradable
Shift Leader (Former Employee) –  St Albans12 November 2019
