Ashamed after thinking they must be wonderful I now know they are awful - just profit machines on the backs of the elderly.

Only four day induction training - fun, fairly informative but definitely not enough and a lot is omitted such as incontinence pad changing, personal washing and bathing, assisting to eat, care of the resident nearing imminent death.

Want staff to follow the Bupa values but it’s not reflected in management or higher! Staff exploited with no increase in pay! Constantly short staffed. Nothing changes when you speak up as everything is in place just for protocol.

To appreciatte more it s employees , give them a decent bonus and pay rise , hire more staff where needed, and this way maybe the staff will not go away and also the company will save more money rather than spending fortune on temps

24th so any hours worked after that date will only be paid a month later.
