Management seem disconnected from the front line which leads to unrealistic expectations and targets.

BT Barrow is a small site - only 2 first line managers are based in the centre. Regular visits from 2nd and 3rd line managers but rarely see anyone above this level.
Workers are in teams headed by a first line manager.
Managers are approachable.
Team building is non-existent (and has been for many years now).
