British Heart Foundation Oldham
Retail Assistant (Former Employee) – Oldham, Greater Manchester – 18 April 2018
In 2010, the British Heart Foundation in Oldham was a great experience, this was the first time I have ever got a Job (Although it was volunteering), my Dad suggested that it would look good on my C.V. It was a nice thing being the youngest person there. Many of the other volunteers where retired, so there was no pressure. This meant there was no one younger trying to prove something, so it was a very relaxing experience. My main job was stacking Videos and DVD’s, also before you put them on the shelf you had to label them so you new the date they were put up. The charity shop was close to my home, so it was an easy walk. The experience was good because you had a set start and end time, so I had to wake up early and get there in time.
I would recommend doing this because you feel needed.
