For delivery you get 45 minutes break apparently, but I have never had one. Hours are long 6am till finish and sometimes you can finish about 7pm. Worst place I have ever worked.
Depending on department. For us on deliveries it often long hours, skipping breaks and mixture of paid and unpaid overtime depending on budget available
8 hour shifts with an hour off in between to be taken as and when you please.
At the moment i work 14:00 - 22:00 but they will be going to rotate over 3 shifts
Hours can be anything from 37 a week to 55 "paid hours" but don't expect to get a break all day..that 45mins unpaid you will be expected to work, whether delivering or loading.
Terrible.as hgv2 summer hours are always more.winter not so bad.
They change your times to suit them
Working hours can be long and daunting. However, if in a busy environment, time can pass quick. Generally 7.30-5pm (depending on store hours and job position)
Every full-time employee gives 18 hours of their life EACH MONTH to the Booker UNPAID. 2 half an hour UNPAID breaks and only one on Saturday's . Which means in my case: 2 9-hour shifts, 2 8-hour shifts and one 8 and a half hours. No possibility of overtime. Although, even though I was working overtime all the time and every week in my previous company, in Booker I would probably reject as I'm drained and exosted. Working part time is alright; full time- avoid.
Poor all day Saturday and Sunday not very sociable
