Temporary Contract (Former Employee) - West Midlands - 21 April 2020
I worked at a hospital in Birmingham for 2 weeks was told by a senior there I would have 6 months to get the idea of computers etc was given shifts after training next thing I had a call from blue arrow the senior gave a excuse to blue arrow to not have me back..I did not start the shifts and was not given a chance..Blue Arrow are fine it’s working at the hospital senior not being upfront and honest to say honestly which areas needed stepping up...Blue Arrow will try to find you work,
Extremely disappointing especially if you're a hard working individual!
Picker/Packer (Former Employee) - West Thurrock Co-op - 14 March 2020
Blue Harrow is only an intermediary employment agency! They don't care for they're employees as they're main concern is to satisfy the big companies to whom they provide labour!!! To be totaly honest they don't give a toss about little fish!!! There is no wonder why you see so many adverts about recruitment all the time!!! No one can stand the working condition, so they just keep rolling
I am sent my shift via the blue arrow app and i choose to accept or decline whether i can work or not, it could be at one of many venues around South Yorkshire or beyond i have gained experience on the bar and the watering sectors, management greets me at the start of the shift shows us where we will be working and then we start our shift. The workplace culture is very easygoing it can be fast paced at times but their is always someone to help and it is a highly recommend job by me, although i could not say their is one hardest part of the job as their is not anything too challenging that is not accomplish able, although the most enjoyable part of job the job is working with my colleagues and developing new relationships and talents with them.
i needed a job after my dad got sick went into the office booked an interview for the next day and started work the next day Kelly who is no longer there really made me feel relaxed as I didn't do interviews very well
Blue Arrow is a recruitment agency, based in the Rugby area of Warwickshire. Used to be known as Recruit plc.
I have been registered with them for the last 24 years, being employed in a variety of roles.
I have worked with blue arrow for around a year now and I have enjoyed being able to work around my uni hours. The 0 hour contract is good for when i have exams and need to take time off but it can be a nuisance when there are no shifts available. Overall the staff are very helpful and any issue I have ever had has been resolved professionally.
