The dress code at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust depends upon what position you hold within the Trust. Domiciliary, Health Care Assistant's, Special Cleaners (deep cleaners), Staff Nurses, Ward Sister's, Receptionists / Administrators, Assistant Practitioners, Team Leaders, Consultants, Locums, Radiographers, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, The various different people (jobs) that make up the Theatre and District Nursing team's (and many others positions that are not listed above) all required to wear (slightly) different coloured uniforms which are more tailored to meet their individual needs and so patients can identify what type of staff member they may be speaking too.
All staff are required too DISPLAY or have on their persons at all times, their STAFF IDENTIFICATION badge and SWIPE CARD (if they possess a swipe card).

Tunics are worn, with navy blue trousers. However, the colour, style and pipping colour changes depending upon what position you hold. Ladies do have the option to change to wearing dresses in the summer but, again, this depends upon your position held within the Trust. Theatre staff wear scrubs but again, these vary in colour depending upon what your job is within the Theatre team.
