I have worked for the company now for a few years. And can say that I enjoy working in this mixed race company. The best thing for me is that I am a working single mom that means I have to work around my daughter and bestway are flexiable and allow me to so this, management are very helpful and always happy to help.

Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver (Former Employee) –  Bradford, West Yorkshire18 November 2018
Shambles of a workplace a few hard working people but mostly two faced individuals who think there management.
Contradictory rules for some others none at all
Moral is depressing
As a former employee I can say guaranteed work hours of 42 a week and bi weekly pay which is great.
With a few changes and personnel it would be a good place to work and a few people who make work enjoyable.
Pros
Bi weekly pay hour dinner one weekend off every 2 bargains a plenty as a employee
Cons
Two faced manipulative characters low staff morale

Terrible place to work.
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) –  Newbridge, City of Edinburgh13 November 2018
Avoid if possible. As a former employee I have first hand knowledge of how badly this company is run. Terrible pay for the workload asked of you, no incentives for staff who put in hard work. Supervisors who don't no how to do the job so you have to do it for them, place is a complete farce. Overtime monies never paid on time. Stay clear.

Replenishment Team Leader (Current Employee) –  Manchester, Greater Manchester9 September 2018
Company has no idea which direction it is going in. Huge redundancy process lasted 2 months longer than it should have and was still a shambles. Wages are not amazing but aren't poor either. They are in huge need for better structure t the depots.
Pros
Struggling to find any?
Cons
Unequal pay and working hours for same role. Struggle to attract good staff.

Avoid like the plague!
Class 2 Driver (Former Employee) –  Exeter, Devon30 June 2018
I stayed in this job for a week.
Nothing was ever ready to load in the morning.
Not one driver ever said a good word about working for the place.
Nobody seemed to have a clue what they were doing.
Expected to work 50hrs plus every week, often not getting paid for the overtime and being promised a day off in lieu the following week.
Told by other drivers that they never got them.
Cages were nearly always overweight making it a struggle to make deliveries.
Wouldn't work here again even if I was paid double!

Help
Warehouse Operative (Current Employee) –  Batleys Sheffield2 March 2018
Somebody needs to take control and turn this company round before we lose every single customer. This doesn't work by running staff into the ground it works by appreciating staff and they in turn will look after the business. Make it a valued job where staff actually want to be there then customers will want to be there too.
It's such a shame that no-one feels proud to work there anymore. Everyone is stretched to the absolute limit and Bestway continue to push. Morale is rock bottom.
Listen and learn from someone who actually cares about the business.
Pros
Management trying their hardest
Cons
No possibility of promotion

Worst place I have ever worked
Warehouse Operative (Current Employee) –  Cambuslang1 March 2018
Avoid working for this company.

The pay is next to nothing whilst the workload is very high, always asked to do to much (and I'm a hard worker)

Recent changes have made it next to impossible to progress a career.

Management don't have a clue how to run the business.

One of the company mottos is "open, honest and frequent communication" yet if you ever raise concerns or voice an opinion you are told, and I quote "I don't like your attitude, you should be grateful you have a job". I could go on with more examples of this.

The staff turn over is ridiculous, it's that bad place to work.

So if you like being treated like dirt go for it but if you have any self respect, avoid at all costs

No communication, within there management and staff, all they think about is money money money. Managment treat you as a second class citizen. They don’t ask you to do a certain job, they tell you. Physical manual handling into shops ect, went out years ago, hard work, if I was you, look for something eles, this isn’t the best place to work stay well clear!
