Originally a nice environment to work in, then you realise how much you have to do
The company expects you to work over your breaks and you never finish on time - meaning you work an extra 2 hours sometimes without being paid! They do not employ enough staff so half the time you don't have time for lunch or have to cover everywhere, meaning nothing gets done and you leave absolutely exhausted! The area managers have no contact with you, give no praise for doing extra and expect you to do all the extra jobs anyway. I have been both a Store Associate and Store Manager and the training provided especially for manager was non-existent, until the exact moment I needed to know about something, I would realise i have not been trained on it. Definitely the most corporate charity which is not humanitarian!
volunteers and customers are so lovely
