Customer Service Assistant (Current Employee) – Brampton – 2 May 2019
Managers and BP in general DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. I've been bullied and harassed and nothing got done. A young girl was sexually harassed here and they turned a blind eye. You'd do best not to work here.
Everything they tell you in the interview be ready for 10x more work which they don't tell you about but expect you to do.
2 shift patterns available every shift was the same very boring . Back stabbing management and if you weren't in the click with other members of staff you might as well not be there .I found it very stressful and sometimes it was like being back in kindergarten to be honest
Customer Service (Former Employee) – Hornchurch, Greater London – 15 December 2017
I was working in a Wild bean M&S BP, it was 3 businesses in one place but it was too much work for 2 or 3 people working in one shift. We had to do cafe work, supermarket work as well as the fuel side and I think there weren't enough staff to get everything done to a standard they wanted. The customers were fantastic, most staff were nice but some were very rude. The cleaning standards were high like a 5 star hotel . This job will suit someone who doesn't mind working different shifts and likes keeping busy all the time at a fast pace. The night pay is only 50p/ hour more than day rate and it messes up your body clock. It takes a couple of days to recover from a night shift. 50% off lunch is only valid to a certain amount and you can't take it home! If you want to take food home you only get 15% off.
Half price lunch, paid break, plenty of overtime
Night shifts, on your feet all the time, rude staff
Oil Customer Service Assistant (Former Employee) – Thetford – 15 November 2017
BP gives everyone great opportunities to progress through the company very easy going workplace and very down to earth, there is plenty of training which is made fun to do and i really enjoyed working for them
Customer Service Assistant (Former Employee) – Sonning – 10 October 2017
I wouldn't advise anyone with a short temper to work at BP. A lot of the members of staffed are poorly trained and extremely lazy with the management lacking in any skills to control and maintain and good day to day business.
Customer Service (Former Employee) – Dunstable, Bedfordshire – 3 September 2017
It is a great place to work, the management was good and very helpful, also the staff was very friendly and approachable. I have learned many things such stowing, checking product dates, dealing with customers and cash up. The things I have enjoyed most is serving customers.
