How do you feel about going to work at Autism Plus each day?

6 answers

  • Depressed. Absolutely no support from senior management and no opportunity to effect change in regards to the service users you spend most of your week with. Problem behaviours from service users remain unacknowledged and therefor unchanged, giving them no room to improve their lives. Inappropriately placed service users. Staff used as fodder. The company know they can just hire the next uneducated mug off the street if any staff express dissatisfaction with any element. Do what you’re told and shut up basically. I’ve known my senior manager (who makes very important decisions regarding service users day to day lives) get people under her care mixed up because they don’t really know anything about the people under their charge.

  • Got bad anxiety having to go to work there

  • Dreaded every shift working at the unit I was on

  • Depressed and unsupported.

  • I love coming to work most days, not everyday is great as people can be quite challenging however you seen realise that you can make a reali difference to people lives in this job.

  • Happy and I look forward to it
