Good people, bad scope for progression
Country Specialist (Former Employee) – London – 20 January 2019
Great people, some fantastic perks, nice office and the company offer a genuinely good product which makes selling easier.
However progression is very difficult within and out with the sales team. If the right people like you, then you'll generally be okay regardless of ability - and the opposite is also true. Hard, talented workers and those loyal to the company are not necessarily rewarded and are more likely to be taken advantage of. FAM trips are a great perk but are allocated incredibly unfairly in some departments. Newbies who are in the with boss can expect regular incredible, expensive FAM trips and some who have been around for over four years get looked over year after year.
The sales job itself is not as gruelling as some make out and can actually be very enjoyable if you're organised and like providing great service.
Great colleagues, good perks and very sociable
Nepotism and stunted progression
