There are many positives to working in the Pharma industry, to see the benefit to human life that drugs can make is incredible, I learned so much from the product range we manufactured and the life changes this gave to patients.
Internally it was always a struggle, much expectation was placed on an employee to do more and more outside the job spec you were employed for, diversity is one thing but lack of recognition is another.
Most enjoyable aspect was autonomy of what I did in any given day.
Hardest part of the job was trying to show why your work is better than another's because of the need to facilitate a persons desire for information that was not used in the correct way, too many times a rash decision is made to pacify a threat, but the long term solution was not considered and rash decisions meant the long term goal was jeopardised.
Good salary and benefits
lack of role alignment
