Argus provides a very good salary for relatively little work and it can feel like a good deal especially if you're just starting out after leaving uni. But there is a lot wrong with how it goes about treating staff and doing its work. You can end up feeling very disillusioned very quickly. Many people have been at the company for donkeys years, waiting for it to be sold so that their share options are worth a small fortune. But it hasn't happened yet and you can see the frustration writ large. Favouritism and silly rules are rife, and if you have any kind of problem, they will not care. There are many stories of people leaving in disgust.
