Retail Assistant (Current Employee) – Stockport – 7 March 2018
It's difficult to secure enough hours, and as hours are always different from week to week it's hard to plan in advance.. Finacially. It's also hard to progress being a single parent as I am not fully flexible to the longer opening hours as a result of the sainsbury take over.
Customer Fulfilment Assistant (Former Employee) – Cookstown, County Tyrone – 25 September 2018
Shifts are quite varied which is good if you have nothing else to tie you down so some mornings you can get a lie in and other days you get a nice chunk of your evening free, so work/life balance is good. The team is generally quite friendly and management are generally quite lenient but some are lazier than others. The main drawback is that the work can get quite repetitive and it's hard to stay motivated after doing the job for more than a year, so that's probably the hardest part of the job. The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to get on with whatever task you're doing when the shop floor and collection point isn't so busy with customers.
