Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) – Acton Gate – 28 January 2018
Good place to work , holidays and pay average but lots of targets . I used to work in the call centre and they even monitored the length of time you took for a personal break. Only 10% discount Sadly made redundant
Customer Service (Former Employee) – London – 27 January 2018
Overall the experience was good. Not for the faint-hearted, as the job requires you to move around alot because locating items using the talkman system can be daunting especially if the items has been placed in the wrong place.
Temporary customer service (Former Employee) – Teesside, North Yorkshire – 25 January 2018
The staff aren't that friendly. The work load and hours aren't equal. You weren't given long enough breaks for how long you were there. Rotas weren't up with enough time to make any plans or appointments needed.
Was able to work during peak periods where the whole team where challenged yet was taught and performed that during busy periods the customer remains priority. Regular reviews on both individual and store targets meant you were always wanting to improve. this occasionally can be intense but it is important to remain balanced.
Was okay for first job, but definitely not worth it all !
Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) – Swindon, Wiltshire – 18 January 2018
When I worked as a Christmas temp, settling into work was pretty easy, but could be very difficult as well. I used to work very long hours on weekends and that was the worst time you could ever work in the week. People coming in late, being very blunt with you, too much messing around and people not taking their work seriously. If you made a mistake management wasn't worried so much, but the speed they expect you to work at for the company is absolutely ridiculous. Salary was very low and week considering the job you are doing and especially if you are working long hours and are in the back part of the store. As well as that, I found myself being called in for shifts I weren't even put down for, and management would be really mad if you called in sick and would expect you to come in regardless of your circumstances. Health and safety was very poor, company in training forces you to do everything until you are trained and then they are not concerned about your health and safety.
aloud to leave store on break
breaks weren't scheduled, pay was very low, dangerously poor H&S standards, and horrible management team.
Customer Service Manager (Current Employee) – London, Greater London – 14 January 2018
It takes you an entire life to progress in this company, It's definitely a pick & choose who they want to promote, hard work isn't recognized at all, the area managers are so unprofessional its unbelievable, after 8 years in this company they have only given a raise once and are not willing to invest in you. very poor senior management in this organisation.
Customer Service Assistant (Former Employee) – Lowestoft – 11 January 2018
Either not enough work to do or to much work to do in the time of your shift. Highly unrealistic targets to help 'progression'. There is always talk of people being laid off or made redundant. The staff discounts and benefits are atrocious. In other works, do not apply for a job.
