Exam Invigilator in Nottingham
on 4 November 2019
Exam Invigilating
Archway Learning Trust are an excellent and highly professional employer. The work as an exam invigilator gives me an opportunity to use my skills and understanding as a teacher in a different way in an environment that is familiar. I am really enjoying the experience of being part of a cooperative and effective team and learning new skills.

Run as far in the opposite direction as you possibly can
Absolutely shocking place to work. If your face fits or you are a 'yes' person then you will do just fine and go far within this company. However, if it doesn't then you are a lamb to the slaughter. Don't ever think your colleagues are friends as they will stab you in the back and take you down at the promise that they will be thought highly of. No matter what you do you will never be thought highly of in this BUSINESS & EVER GROWING EMPIRE you won't be thought of highly unless your filling the pockets of those within the Head Office or the CEO’s. Even then it’s fake praise. If you want the best for young people then don’t bother wasting your time even completing an application form or letter of application as this is NOT the place for you. They are not about that of young people nor professionals who want young people to succeed. They are people who have hidden agendas and don’t give any thought about young people nor staff.

Great career progression
In my two years at the trust, I have been supported in my CPD by both my immediate line manager and the senior management team within the trust. I am trusted to make the decisions I need to in my role and given the resources and support needed to progress. Working at the Trust has been great for my own career development.
