The current management at Yaxley depot is very disrespectful, the majority of the office staff are not living by AO.Com values and this can be seen on a daily basis. The depot manager needs to lead by example but because she talks to everyone like dirt the office staff think they can do the same. They really need to improve the depot management and educate her on how to get the best from the team and start treating people like human beings not just a resource. The attitude of the depot manager is verging on arrogant and just out right rude and she seems to look down on all her members of staff. I absolutely love my job however every time I go into the depot before or after a hard days work I consider leaving AO.Com because it is a constant battle with the depot office staff not being helpful. The office staff need to stop talking to members of staff like rubbish and looking down on us. I am a current employee of AO but if I don’t write this nothing will improve. Please look into the depot management (depot manager) as her attitude is making the job unbearable for many of the staff. She needs re-educated otherwise I can see a lot of members of staff leaving.
Its not organised at all. The less you know the higher you will go. If you really are thick you will likely be put in charge of a department you know nothing about or made the head of one. Your staff will keep leaving but AO will keep supporting you and care little about the fact you are destroying your department and the good staff keep going.
Southern area/district management uses bullying and harassment. Everyone is miserable at AO, for 4 years I didn't see 1 genuinely happy person.
