Anglo American’s metallurgical coal business is one of Australia’s leading metallurgical coal producers with extensive coal mining interests in Queensland and New South Wales.

Anglo American's Queensland mining operations are Moranbah North, Callide, Capcoal, Foxleigh and Dawson mines, and they have one operating mine at Drayton in New South Wales.
 – more... Anglo American uses Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT), Gladstone Port Corporation and Port Waratah Coal Services to export about 26 million tonnes of coal annually to steelmaking customers and electricity producers throughout the world. As well as being the second largest exporter of metallurgical coal in Australia, Anglo American's portfolio of mines includes two thermal coal mines which provide high-quality thermal coal to both off-shore and domestic customers.
