We unfortunately have no control on how long DBS checks take. We use a system called GBG and they can take anywhere between 1-4 weeks to come back to us. However, while we wait for the DBS to come back it gives us time to obtain references from previous employers.

Treat their staff like human beings. If a home has a high turn over of staff find out why staff are leaving. Take notice of staff surveys

All positions will work alternate weekends

Varied depending on the role.

Care Assistants who work during the day will be either on an 8 or 12 hour shifts depending on location (shifts vary from 07:00-14:00, 14:00-21:00 or 08:00-20:00). Care Assistants who work during night times will either do 10 or 12 hour shifts, shifts vary from 20:00 – 08:00 or 21:00 – 07:00.
