The workload is huge and overtime is needed to keep up

The job is sold as 35 hours per week however there is this pressure to work a lot more than that. I would normally be in at 8am, barely have a lunch break and work until 5.30 with the manager often scheduling meetings in at 5.30.

There is no difference between office or virtual in terms of how the job is handled, I think virtual workers have it worse in terms of communication filtering through which causes them problems in updated product information etc, also virtual workers tend to end up doing more work/callbacks in their own time whereas in house once you leave at the end of the day that's it.
