Yes it is. On nights shift its about 8-9£/hour

Yes.
40 hours a week is paid at normal rate, 7.50+ P/h at Day shift and 9.35+P/h Night shift.
Anything between 40-50 hours is paid at time and a half.
And lastly anything above 50 hours is paid at double time.

Also just so I don't forget, Amazon offers people to do compulsory overtime (Mandatory) during peak. They do allow people to not take compulsory OT under certain circumstances but if you would like to work with amazon, Please consider this before you apply.

There was overtime available.
It was tough but the pay was worth it, and the pay was very good.
