It will be outlined in your contract if you get the job. Frequent sickness (more than 3 days sick in 3 months) will get you a nice meeting with the area manager. Sick notes should be given as soon as possible, if off for more than 3 days. You will be paid according to your time with the company but it isn't very much.

We work long hours, and do a bit of everything. You would be on shop floor and tills all in one day. Either stocking, restocking, tidying the store or serving customers. A bit of everything.

A couple of shirts and a jacket is given to you. £8.40 is the starting rate for store assistants and there is no discount. We are already a discount store.

We don't have specific jobs for tills but if you need to have a set rota for school times etc then they will accommodate (as long as you mention it at your interview). Till shifts can start from 8am. In my store they are 8am-3pm or 3pm-10:00pm. There are also shifts between, like 10am-4pm or 12pm-6/8pm. Aldi prides itself on everyone doing a bit of everything so you should go for the job with that in mind.
